Ok so basically what I just did (which worked) is I went to the official forge website Their website clicked on what I wanted and the latest release then installed it. It should be downloaded if you click on accept the file then download through the launcher. After you do that go onto your MC Launcher then installations then click new installation then go alllllll the way down on the versions and after you do that click on your forge installer name it whatever you want then download run it then when u get in the menu screen you can leave.
